Bird Education Events

In collaboration with the Baraboo Range Preservation Association we will host a summer series of bird education events, geared towards teaching kids about the amazing bird (and other!) species we share this landscape with. We will learn about Wisconsin birds and their habitats through a bird banding demonstration at the edge of Baxter’s Hollow preserve.

Each event is limited to 8 kids (ages 5+) and their parent(s). Please email Maia to confirm a spot and for more details: maia.persche@gmail.com

Bird Research Evenings

This summer we’ll bring back our informal research talks and banding education nights in the Baraboo Hills. Come learn about the process of bird banding, the current focus of our research, and bird conservation efforts to get involved in.
