The Baraboo Hills Research Collective is dedicated to sustaining wild species and landscapes through long-term monitoring and community engagement.
The Collective envisions creating and maintaining an ecological dataset designed to inform conservation and land management decisions.
We would like our research sites to become focal points for collaborations with partners at universities, governmental conservation entities, and local nonprofits.
Lives are enhanced by finding a sense of curiosity and belonging in the natural world, and we see the Collective as a channel to get people outside. We hope to start dialogue among students, landowners, and the public about ecology and conservation in the Baraboo Hills, and globally.
The Collective strives to provide an engaging and informative space for all visitors, volunteers, and staff regardless of race, gender, creed, orientation, or disability.
